When will my order arrive?

You can expect your order to be delivered between 10:00 am and 6:00 pm on Sunday. Severe weather may cause delays.

What if I'm not home when my order arrives?

If we aren't able to deliver your order, you'll receive a store credit equivalent to the value of your order, minus the delivery fee.

If you've purchased refrigerated packaging, don't worry about being home to accept delivery of your order. We'll drop it off in an insulated box with enough dry ice to last all day.

How does refrigerated packaging work?

Refrigerated orders are delivered in cardboard boxes insulated with two layers of thermal bubble wrap packed with plenty of dry ice to stay frozen all day.

We use Optifreight's best practices handbook for dry ice shipping to determine the amount of dry ice to use:

What's the cancellation policy?

Cancel before delivery day for a full refund. Cancel on delivery day and get a full refund, minus the delivery fee.

Is the insulation/plastic packaging recyclable?

Our insulation and packaging is not curbside recyclable (yet). However, we'll collect them for you if you leave them on your doorstep next time you order – we'll reuse the insulation and recycle the plastic at Recycle Utah in Park City.

We're excited to switch to compostable, biodegradable, and recyclable cellulose insulation as soon as possible. The few companies that sell cellulose box liners have MOQs which are currently out of reach, but we'll get there.

There are variances in the products I received. Is there something wrong with them?

They're just from different batches. The batches we produce are small and we'll occasionally tweak our recipes based on customer feedback or the quality/availability of certain ingredients.

What does Koma mean?

The name occurred to me as I slipped into a day-ruining food coma after eating a rotisserie chicken for breakfast.
